The Dutch symphonic metal veterans' seventh studio long-player, and much anticipated follow-up to 2014's The Quantum Enigma, The Holographic Principle, according to frontwoman Simone Simons, is "one of the band's most ambitious offerings to date." Produced by Joost van der Broek at Sandlane Recording Facilities, and featuring artwork by Stefan Heilemann, the 12-track set is built around the concept of virtual reality, and features the usual mix of full orchestra, celestial choirs, neo-classical shredding, and heady, melodically charged-arrangements.
