The first full-length album by Japanese rock band Bump of Chicken, The Living Dead continues where mini-album Flame Vein left off, with its indie rock-influenced sound revealing its roots outside of the Japanese major-label system.
Originally released in 2001 on Tokyo indie label High Line Records, it was re-released in 2004 on major-label Toy's Factory, although with no additional material.
The Living Dead features the single "Lamp".
