Human Nature's 2012 release The Motown Record features the popular Australian all-male vocal ensemble performing a variety of hits associated with iconic Detroit label.
They did this previously on the 2005 album Reach Out: The Motown Record, which caught the ear of Motown legend Smokey Robinson, who eventually presented the group in its own Las Vegas show.
A subsequent 2012 U.S.
tour and PBS special prompted the band to rework its 2005 album and add new recordings.
These are well-produced and reverent versions of the original '60s songs with more of a focus on Human Nature's four-part harmony vocal style.
Included here are such songs as "Get Ready" featuring Smokey Robinson, an a cappella take on "Ooo Baby Baby," the Supremes "Stop! In the Name of Love," and many more.
