Third Verse, the Smalltown Poets' third album, continues in the vein of its predecessors: smoothed-out, jangly folk-rock with unabashedly Christian lyrics.
This sound isn't as prevalent on pop or alternative radio as it was earlier in the '90s, but the group still sounds contemporary thanks to their mostly solid songcraft.
