The sophomore effort from electronic folk artist James Yuill finds him refining his fusion of sweet, guitar-based folk and digital textures to excellent effect.
Unlike other folktronic artists, such as Four Tet, Yuill veers away from the experimental and challenging aspects of IDM and electronica, opting instead to create lush, lulling guitar-and-vocal music enhanced by a lush bed of electronic enhancements.
