Greg Howe's third all-instrumental solo album follows in the footsteps of its immediate predecessor, Introspection.
Crammed full of completely over the top rock/fusion guitar solos, Uncertain Terms has plenty to recommend it to guitar geeks; indeed, Greg Howe has taken all of the innovations of Eddie Van Halen and Yngwie Malmsteen and expanded them to monstrous proportions.
Highlights include the grooving "5 Mile Limit" and the unbelievable fretboard workout of "Stringed Sanity," in which Howe unleashes a frightening survey of his techniques with unfathomable speed and stamina.
For that matter, the rest of the album usually succeeds in doing the same.
