Often compared to lover's rock king Beres Hammond, Glen Washington has built a steady career with smooth, mid-tempo songs of love and betrayal.
The difference between these two crooners however,is that Washington's pleasant baritone never comes close to the richness or depth of emotion that Hammond is famous for.
On "Wanna Be Loved," Washington continues down his tried and true path.
He offers a nice collection of lovers rock reggae but with nothing outstanding.
Although the opening track "Viper" is billed as the answer to his classic 1998 hit, "Kindness for Weakness," it lacks much of the heartfelt sentiments of its predecessor.
