Jason Crabb's fourth solo studio album, Whatever the Road, marks his first release with Provident Label Group.
Produced by Jason Ingram (Chris Tomlin, Tenth Avenue North) and Paul Mabury (Hillsong United, Building 429), the album finds a more adult contemporary sound for the previously country-leaning contemporary Christian artist without completely abandoning twang or slide guitar.
Earnest and mature in tone, Whatever the Road sounds comfortably decided in its message instead of rousing or eager to persuade.
