Released a mere five months after their debut, the sophomore album from Mukai Shutoku's Zazen Boys furthered the movement toward eccentric rock ideas.
With the addition of soon-to-be pop star Ringa Shino as an additional backing vocalist, the group went deeper into the basic math rock aesthetic, while also trying out classic rock motifs, interludes of rapped lyrics, funk guitar lines, punk thrashings, and with the closing track "My Crazy Feeling," a full-fledged instrumental breakdown into nothingness.
