Longtime Wakeman associate Tony Fernandez, a drummer, gets co-billing on this album of material co-written by the two.
Despite this, half of the tracks are slow and simple instrumentals with only light percussion.
"Gemini," with its "Pink Panther"-ish feel and nice snare work, is the most winning piece; much of the rest is bland and fails to sustain interest.
It would have benefited from more energy and improvisation, but as the album is part of "The Rick Wakeman New Age Collection," perhaps this would have been inappropriate.
