Following the platinum-certified success of his major-label debut, 2017's There's Really a Wolf, rapper/producer Russ released his second studio album, Zoo, in 2018.
As with the majority of his music, Russ wrote, produced, performed, mixed, and mastered the album himself, although this album features guest appearances from Rick Ross and Snoop Dogg on "Last Forever" and British singer/songwriter Mahalia on "Keep It Pushin," as well as a Sting sample on "Parkstone Drive." Blending rap, pop, and R&B, the album finds Russ denouncing his haters as well as telling stories from his personal life.
Led by the single "The Flute Song," Zoo was released in September of 2018, and hit the Top Five of the Billboard 200.
